Coachability, open mindedness, willing to learn, accepts correction and direction are characteritics of people who are typically successful in whatever endevour they choose to engage in.

Unless a person is naturally talented and able to navigate their way into mastery of a skill, profession or occupation independently, they better be open to instruction and guidance. By the way, very few people actually figure out how to be great without help.

Consider your people. Consider yourself. Is there a spirit of learning and growing and receiving coaching in your organization? If not, you, your people and your business will be limited in its ability to grow.

Therefore, coachability should be one of the core characteristics you look for in your people and future hires.
